Three Men Arrested in Connection with Fatal Incident at Bournemouth Cocktail Bar

Dorset Police responded to reports of an assault outside MyBar on Charminster Road in Bournemouth around 3:00 BST. A man in his 40s from Christchurch was declared dead at the scene by paramedics. His next of kin has been notified of the tragic event.

Authorities have maintained a wide cordoned area around the location, with officers expected to remain in the vicinity for the foreseeable future “while vital work at the scene is carried out.” The force confirmed three individuals have been taken into custody on suspicion of murder. The suspects are aged 37, 46, and 34, with two from Bournemouth and one from Poole.

“The family of the deceased has been notified, and a thorough investigation is currently being conducted to determine the circumstances of the incident,” said Detective Chf Insp Nicky Jenkins of Dorset Police’s Major Crime Investigation Team.

Policemen are urging witnesses and anyone with relevant dashcam footage to step forward. The ongoing inquiry aims to clarify the sequence of events leading to the man’s death, which occurred just outside the cocktail bar. Further details are yet to be released as the probe continues.
