England and Saracens teammates Marlie Packer and Rosie Galligan have shared the news of their upcoming parenthood. The duo, who are engaged, revealed they are expecting a child together, with Galligan set to deliver in October. Both players were integral to the 2022 Women’s Rugby World Cup victory, which took place on home soil.

Packer, 36, already has a five-year-old son named Oliver and was part of the World Cup-winning team in 2014. Galligan, 27, is a key member of the Red Roses squad, having earned 31 Test caps and contributed to the 2022 Grand Slam triumph in the Six Nations.
