Essex Police confirmed that a 19-year-old woman lost her life after being attacked by a dog at her home in Long Hide, Leaden Roding. The incident occurred at 22:45 BST on Friday, when officers responded to the scene and discovered the victim with critical injuries. Despite immediate intervention by emergency responders, she was declared dead at the location.

Man Arrested in Connection with Fatal Attack

A 37-year-old man from Dunmow has been detained on suspicion of failing to control his dog, which caused a fatal injury. The canine was confiscated by authorities, and specialized teams ensured the area was safe for further investigation.
