Madonna offers reward for return of missing Coachella costume

Madonna is offering a reward for the return of her missing performance attire following a recent Coachella event. The Queen of Pop shared her concern on Instagram, emphasizing the sentimental value of the items. Among the lost pieces are a purple jacket, corset, and dress from her surprise appearance with Sabrina Carpenter. She also mentioned that these garments hold special significance, as they were previously worn during her Coachella performance two decades prior.

“These aren’t just clothes, they are part of my history,” Madonna wrote, expressing hope that someone would return them. “I’m hoping and praying that some kind soul will find these items and reach out to my team,” she added, offering a reward for their safe return.

Several other artifacts from Madonna’s personal collection, dating back to the same era, have also gone missing. The Indio Police Department reported the items were last spotted on a golf cart at 01:30 local time on Saturday. A spokesperson noted there was “no evidence to suggest the bags were intentionally stolen,” though they might have fallen off during transport to a bus. The BBC has since reached out to the police for further updates.

During the performance, Madonna and Carpenter performed duets of classic tracks, including “Vogue” and “Like A Prayer.” The singer also unveiled a new song from her upcoming album Confessions II, a follow-up to 2005’s Confessions On A Dancefloor, set for release in July.
