No Rape Took Place Outside Epsom Church, Say Police
Surrey Police have confirmed that no sexual assault occurred in connection with the incident reported near a church in Epsom last week. The force stated that after conducting a thorough inquiry into the event, which led to demonstrations and unrest in the town, they now believe the woman involved suffered an unintentional head injury during the night and submitted a disoriented account.
“The individual in question has granted us permission to disclose this information, and she remains under the care of appropriate support services,” Surrey Police noted.
The investigation into the alleged attack has been officially concluded by the police department.
