Man, 21, fatally stabbed at Primrose Hill

A 21-year-old man was found dead following a stabbing at a well-known north London landmark, according to the Metropolitan Police. Police arrived at the Primrose Hill viewpoint after receiving a report of a confrontation at 18:41 BST on Tuesday. Despite the efforts of paramedics from the London Ambulance Service, the man succumbed to his injuries on the spot.

Another man in his 20s was located by officers near Regent’s Park Road with multiple stab wounds. He was transported to the hospital, where his condition was deemed non-life-threatening. No arrests have been made yet. The area around the park and adjacent streets remains cordoned off as investigators work to uncover details.

Supt Matt Cox described the stabbing as an “utterly tragic incident”.

“Our thoughts remain with the man’s family and loved ones,” he said. “I would like to reassure the local community that the investigation is unfolding at pace and an increased police presence will remain in the area while we carry out enquiries.”

Supt Cox urged witnesses in the vicinity at the time of the incident to reach out to the police. For more updates, tune into BBC Radio London on Sounds and follow BBC London on Facebook, X, and Instagram. Submit your story suggestions to hello.bbclondon@bbc.co.uk
