Murder Charge over Primrose Hill Stabbing
A 21-year-old man, Finbar Sullivan, was killed in a stabbing incident at Primrose Hill. The attack occurred near a viewing point in the north London area on Tuesday. Oliuwadamilola Ogunyankinnu, 27, from Southbury Road in Enfield, was arrested on Friday and charged with murder on Sunday. He is set to appear at Stratford Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed that a 25-year-old man, previously detained on suspicion of aiding the offender, has been released without further charges. The investigation into Sullivan’s death continues. Another individual in his 20s was also found with stab wounds on Regent’s Park Road nearby, but his injuries are not considered critical.
“All of his friends said he was the light, the leader. His friends’ parents loved him. This is why it’s so tragic,” said Chris Sullivan, 65, father of the deceased.
Sullivan, a film student at the London Screen Academy, is remembered by loved ones as a cherished figure. The Met has not yet concluded the case, with more details expected as the inquiry progresses.
