Kid Rock sparks US Army probe after helicopter flyby at his mansion
US Army Investigates Kid Rock’s Helicopter Flyby at Tennessee Home
Following a recent video shared by Kid Rock, the U.S. Army has initiated an investigation. The footage captured two military helicopters flying over the musician’s residence in Tennessee, sparking questions about compliance with airspace protocols.
Helicopter Mission and Army Response
The Army confirmed the AH-64 Apaches were on a routine training mission passing through the Nashville region. A spokesperson, Major Montrell Russell, stated an administrative review is being conducted to evaluate the operation and ensure adherence to regulations. “If any violations are identified, corrective measures will follow,” Russell added.
“We take all concerns regarding aircraft operations and their impact on the surrounding community seriously,” said Major Jonathon Bless, representing the Army’s 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell.
Kid Rock’s Social Media Post
Kid Rock, who frequently aligns with former President Donald Trump, posted the video on social media. In the clip, he stands by his pool, waving toward the helicopters as they pass. The caption included a pointed remark at California Governor Gavin Newsom, a Democratic leader, who has clashed with Trump politically. “God Bless America and all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to defend her,” the message read.
The video features Kid Rock alongside a Statue of Liberty replica, raising eyebrows with his celebratory gestures. The artist’s real name, Robert Ritchie, has also shared a second clip showing him cheering as a gunship flies past his mansion, which he refers to as the Southern White House.
Context of the Incident
The event has drawn attention due to its timing and political undertones. Kid Rock’s public support for Trump and his criticism of Newsom have intensified scrutiny on the Army’s actions. Officials emphasized the importance of community impact, with Bless noting the division’s commitment to addressing concerns promptly.
