Husband cleared of manslaughter over wife’s suicide
Christopher Trybus, 43, was acquitted of manslaughter charges after his wife, Tarryn Baird, died in 2017. The jury at Winchester Crown Court dismissed all accusations, including allegations of controlling behavior and two rape charges, earlier this week. Trybus had argued that Baird exaggerated his actions to gain attention during medical consultations.
Trybus stated that Baird had lied about him for attention when she told health professionals he had been violent toward her.
