On Saturday, a Temecula couple awoke to the surprising sight of a hot air balloon with 13 passengers resting in their backyard. The pilot explained that the balloon had to land abruptly due to its inability to maintain altitude and a fuel shortage. No one was hurt in the incident.

“I was stunned they avoided our tree. They barely missed the house,” said Jenna Perrin. “It was like they were touching the fence.”
